The number of ETH waiting to join the Ethereum PoS network has risen to 404,500, while over 840,000 ETH are waiting to exit.

On August 25, according to data from the validator queue tracking website validatorqueue, the current number of Ethereum PoS network exit queue is reported to be 846,142 ETH, worth approximately $4 billion, which has eased from the previous historical high of 916,647 ETH. Meanwhile, the queue waiting to join the network has risen to 404,500 ETH (up from 152,625 ETH yesterday). Previous reports indicated that this situation reflects two opposing forces in the market: on one hand, some stakers may have chosen to lock in profits following the significant pump of Ethereum since the low point in April, leading to a surge in the exit queue; on the other hand, new funds driven by regulatory favourable information and institutional demand are also pushing up the entry queue, as publicly listed companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion increase their holdings in ETH and stake.
